I don't know if these are of interest to you, but rather than let them pass and forget about them, I'll keep sharing with you these odd, double-take moments.
This morning, I told Lucas that our friend, Janine, and her little girl, Jules, were going to come over for a visit. He was very excited to see them, but then got seemingly mixed up and started talking about Azul coming over. Azul is another friend who is almost never without her baby, Suraya … but Lucas said Suraya wasn't coming. He just kept insisting that Azul was coming over, along with Janine and Jules. I reminded him that it was just Janine and Jules who were coming over later.
I forgot all about this exchange until this afternoon, when I was sitting on the couch with Lucas and Azul, who had popped by for a spontaneous visit that she hadn't even planned to make until she was about to leave her house. She was solo, just as Lucas had mentioned this morning.

I noticed you were following my blog, so I came here to check out yours. On my blog, to the right on the main page, are several pictures linked to different older posts of mine. I am 49 now, but was a 'gifted' child, and the label did me a lot more damage than good, so I totally see your point in this article.
